This is our second year for the All Stars Softball Game. Last year it was at Cleary University. This year it’s going to be at Brighton High School.

There are two teams, Red and Blue. Each team is picked by a draw which is on Draft Day, April 1st.

We also have other spots open for anyone else from your Department who would like to participate. Sign-up below:

RULES 

Offense:

Batters start, 1 strike, 1 ball 

All players bat 

No lead off / No stealing 

No sliding / No collisions 

No bunting 

3rd to home force – cross line 

No touch plate / force out 

If an injured player cannot bat, NOT an out 

7 inning game 

2nd foul ball is a 3rd strike out 

Defense 

11 on defense, all players bat 

Pitched ball 6 min / 12 max 

Pitched ball hits mat = strike 

Catcher- pitcher – req. helmet and face cage 

First base / inside base 

3rd to home force / touch plate 

No tag 

After 2nd + 5th inning – coach must insert def. players off bench No fake tags 

All players – bring own shoes (HC) metal spikes – bring own shirt, cap, glove, bat, practice balls
